Portfolio (Google Drive)

This portfolio includes three projects that reflect the creative and technical strengths I’ve developed in pursuit of a career in experimental and interactive media production. Each piece represents a different stage in my growth, not only in terms of media format, but also in how I learned to engage an audience, adapt to production constraints, and bring abstract ideas into functional, impactful experiences.

Wishing Worm: Bhaoltab the Primordial Violtho C'thouzath (2023)

Short Film

Wishing Worm was my first large-scale traditional production. I served as screenwriter and camera operator, taking a concept from script to screen over a semester. This project taught me the importance of balancing a creative vision with collaborative execution. From early pre-production documents like storyboards, a lookbook, and character bios to the final edit in Vegas Pro 20, I learned how to adapt my ideas in real-time while directing a team to a coherent visual and narrative result.

TURTLES UNLIMITED LLC. (2024)

Interactive FictionPlay it on Itch.io

This project pushed me into the realm of digital storytelling in the more unconventional forms of fiction, worldbuilding, and interactive media. I created a unified online presence across multiple platforms (YouTube, Facebook, Itch.io), including coded HTML pages, Photoshop visuals, and short narrative films. The “Choose Your Own Adventure” format let me experiment with nonlinear storytelling, while the design and structure of the site reflected my growing skill in directing audience experience. Most recently, I moved this project to the same hosting website as Henri’s Garden to bring relevancy to both.

Henri’s Garden (2025)

Incremental GamePlay it on Itch.io

My current capstone project combines everything I’ve learned so far. It’s a web-based incremental game with a deceptively wholesome premise that gradually reveals an eerie, unsettling world. This project required me to integrate more complex coding to function as a game (HTML/JavaScript), visual design, and interactive pacing, building on the foundation laid by Turtles Unlimited LLC in terms of presentation, and Wishing Worm in terms of storytelling. It represents the fullest expression yet of my interest in immersive, evolving narratives that reward exploration and interpretation.

🏆 Excellence in New Media Award

Ultimately, it was in due part of each of these projects and their application that I was awarded the Ric Edelman College of Communication & Creative Arts Excellence in New Media Award.

Looking ahead, I hope to strengthen my portfolio by refining the polish and complexity of my interactive work and future stories. While I’m proud of the conceptual clarity and personal voice I've achieved in each of these pieces, my main goal going forward is to improve the technical robustness and scalability of future projects. Looking back on these, I only want to continue pushing the boundaries of form while ensuring each piece of art remains coherent, functional, and resonant with its audience.
